Difference: House & Home

When we talk about our family, we can not avoid using two simple words, that is, house and home. In our China, we just use one word to describe it---JIA. Many people even do not know the difference between the two words, or they are not aware of it.

Home is not a simple concept, sociologists say that home is the smallest cell of society; marriage experts say home is the world of the two dependent on each other facing difficulties; writers say a herd of pigs live happy in the shelter. What is home then, many people think it is not a question worth considering.

So let us listen to a story. A rich man passed out in his villa outside, his security propped him and said: "Sir, let me take you home!" The rich man asked the security: "home?! Where is my home? Could you help me back home? "Security puzzled, pointing the villa, said: "That's not your home yet?" Rich man pointed to his chest nest, then pointed to the luxury villa, in all seriousness, replied on and off: "Well, that's not my home, it is just my house."

Home is not a house, not the TV, not the refrigerator, and not the piled up material space. While material wealth can give us a little sensory pleasure, but that is rapidly disappearing. Just imagine, in that space, full of violence and the cold war, familiar-strange bedfellows, dubious family, "home" will not become the home. It becomes a battlefield. No wonder some wealthy men self-mockery: "I have nothing but money!"

 To love and to be loved are both necessary at home. Two person mutually concerned about are home, home here are treated as a faith, a religion, one that supports the spiritual strength.
Home should be filled with love, without it, scattered.

 The home is an emotional haven, home is the cradle of the growth, and the home is the habitat of a soul, the home is the best place to make their own indulgence, the home is a spiritual paradise. The house is all of the emotions you and your family share together. When you hold it, it is simple just as oil, salt, and water; if you lose it, you can never find it back whatever you do!

Family is the key topic at American election, a happy family is the hope of the common people; while a comfortable home is the eternal pursuit of lilysilk!
